In October, I took a couple of CAP members, including one of our Incident Commanders (IC’s), to an area where we could do some UAS imaging of a burn area from a prior wildfire, the SCU Lightning Complex. The goal was training – including training of the IC, so that he could experience how sUAS can be incorporated into our missions, which generally could include crewed aircraft, UAS, ground teams, and more.
